Didn't last more than 9 months. I would love a replacement from the seller if they read this.This is an update to my previous post about it not lasting more than 9 months. I was informed by the seller that this is a wear item (consumable) and it will wear out over time like anything.The seller is great to work with and they sent me replacement blade to satisfy me. I am very happy with their customer satisfaction and highly recommend them.I have the Nutri Ninja 480D-69DOB, which I purchased on Amazon in September 2019. I use the Ninja almost every day with few exceptions. The original blade began to get "tight" so I looked for a suitable replacement. This one is as close to the original in "look and feel" as it can get. Seriously!I've used it a few times already and it does what it is suppose to do. It is easy to clean and comes with extra gaskets. Since it is new and the gaskets need to be seated; make sure you screw the blade on back it off a little and screw it tight.Side note: I sprayed Liquid Wrench onto the "original blade" to see if I could loosen it up and continue to use it. I was able to do so, but you MUST clean it with lots of liquid detergent (i.e. Dawn liquid) afterwards to make sure you remove any residual Liquid Wrench. This was a temporary fix only - just an FYI.Purchased this blade with hope but just after 3 months, it is squealing and unbearable in sound. Replaced it already with the second one in the pack. Let’s see how long that one lasts…..Works as advertised, but not sure where the oversized gaskets are to be installed or if they are even used. Also came with some tools, but no instructions.Amazing great valueI bought the five-fin replacement blade tops for my Ninja blender, and although it came with two only one fit. I’m annoyed to say the least. We can’t figure out why. Only one of the lids goes down far enough on the cup to trigger the blender, while the other screws on the cup more shallowly to prevent it from being able to lock into the blender for blending activation. I gave it two stars because one lid fit and worked appropriately.We have our 4 graduated kids at home, and 3 in high school. Between the 9 of us, smoothies are made daily for meals. Our original blade broke after 6 YEARS. We ordered these replacements and at the beginning we were okay with them, but not happy. This new blade changed the pitch of the whirring the blender made. It was so high pitched we had to warn people in the kitchen we were gonna use the blender. Then, we noticed additions to our smoothies, little pieces of plastic the first blade was throwing into our shakes. Then the second one broke within a month of that one. The first one broke after 8 weeks. The second one barely made it to 3+ months. Go to the original Ninja site for your replacement, you may save money initially buying this one, but it doesn’t last.Honestly, it was a waste of money and it made the blender soo much louder for some reason. Just save yourself a headache and buy a replacement from Ninja themselves.
