The part connecting the blender attachment to the motor assembly is very flimsy. Since this part transfers torque from the motor to the blender blade, it is, needless to say, indispensable. The second time I used this blender, it broke. I checked out other blenders and in all of them this part is solid and made of hard plastic, unlike this one, where it is made of cheap plastic and is hollow. See product images for detail.It contained 100 ml of milk and 2 cubes of ice when the plastic connection broke, so it was definitely not overloaded. I was later informed by the seller that it should not be used with ice. However, even without using ice I don't see how this part could last more than a few uses.The fact that this blender is not to be used with ice (per the merchant - NewEra Products) is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions.The lower grinder part of this blender probably works well but the blender attachment is useless. The lower part stainless steel grinder, blade and motor is all one-piece so the grinding container and blade cannot be washed.It is not very powerful and does not grind to a fine consistency, despite grinding for a long time and hard to clean, because blade does not detach.The little jar is much more useful than your regular old blender. Can be used to make shakes, chutney etc. The only gripe I have is that the coffee grinder part has to be cleaned 1st if you want to use the blender. But otherwise, an excellent product. Has replaced my blender and coffee grinder!The little grinder I purchased at Amazon is so far, really good. I wish the upper jar were made of glass rather than plastic because of durability and the need to reduce plastic in cooking as far as possible.Also, cleaning instructions need to be clearer.Not meeting my expectation. Not working properly. Top and Bottom jar connection is not set up properly. Please correct thatUseful for small quick grinding... I use it mainly for nuts grinding and juices. It serves the purpose sufficiently. Am quite happy.Poor product.Very bad product, doesn't work efficiently and broke down within a few months completely.
