La Reveuse 300W Blender with 18oz BPA-Free Bottle - Perfect for Smoothies & Travel

Purchased to bring on a vacation make cocktails. Seems to chop ice fine I'd go a little light on the ice and maybe add more later but the one I made to test it was fine.Update: after about 2 weeks of light use, it seems to be making a strange burning smell while in use, which might be a deal breaker for me. It occurs within seconds of use, and I never use it for a full minute (which is the max consecutive operating time). Very weird and unfortunate, because otherwise it’s a great (albeit fairly cheap) little blender.Original review: This blender is exactly what I was looking for—a personal blender that operated by pushing/turning vs. a button. I bought one with a push button at first, and it stopped working after one use. I had a NutriBullet for years, and wanted something similar, but simpler/smaller. I just use this for mixing protein powder shakes, so I can’t speak to how it would work with fruits/veggies, but it seems really powerful & the blades are sharp/sturdy. I do wish it was a little heavier—it’s all plastic, and I’m a bit worried about its longevity, but I guess that’s how it goes. So far, it’s holding up fine. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s pretty hard to push the blender part down and over to engage it and blend, but once you get it, it seems to get easier with time & use. I would definitely recommend this little blender.Cup is a little tough to clean because it is narrow; and there is a slight burning smell of motor when you run it; but it is a great little blender. Used it at my vacation home for about a week and left it there. I basically make smoothies with it once or twice a day. Does great with ice and frozen fruit. Will see how it holds up over time.Like the size of this little guy. If you put too much content in, you'll have to keep shaking to get it all. Pulse mode works best. We'll see how long it lasts. This was a trial to see if we'd like a personal blender before investing in a more expensive unit. We just don't use the big blender much.I use it for mixing protein powder with almond milk! So turns out that the bottle wraps with the smallest amount of hot water . In my case 1 tsp did it and it bent and I asked for a replacement which they sent within 2 days . The blender is good otherwise but say goodbye to cold coffee’s.It’s easy, convenient, blend well. Just a little big loud. But which blender is not? For this money, it’s a very very very nice blender. Perfect for one person use.I like the compact size and how easy it is to use and clean. It does a pretty good job blending for it's size/price. Sometimes it leaves some protein powder on the sides and doesn't do a great job on spinach - but overall I am satisfied with itUtilisé pour faire des smoothies, du pesto et des vinaigrettes!
