I recently decided to replace two immersion blenders I have that are 15 and 20 years old (really dating myself, aren't I?).Anyhow, I am SO happy I got this set!! At first,I was a little worried about what i'd get with such a low price. But this thing is SOLID, and has better features and attachments than my expensive ones!Firstly, I LOVE the shake cup. I never even get either my blenders or magic bullet out anymore, because the shake cup does a much better job blending protein shakes without the mess to clean up.The mini-food processor/chopper is AWESOME. I have a fancy "deluxe" food processor I got from Europe and I hardly ever bring it out of the cabinet now that I have this mini one. It also has a blade for high-power mixing, for things like eggs and pancake batter.Another great thing about this: the entire set fits into a small drawer. This one I have mine in is about 10" high, but a 7" high drawer would work. I actually have enough leftover space in the drawer to stow other items too, so...It doesn't take up much space at all!All of the pieces are really easy to clean...except the immersion blade. It's a very different blade than my other two immersion blenders have. I use a small barrel/bottle brush to clean it. It's very strong and well made, though. I'm always blending in hard-frozen berries and ice, and it rarely misses any of it.The only other thing I find is an issue with the immersion blade is that things like berry and flax seeds stick to the inside brim of the blade area and are hard to get off at times, though the brush helps with that a lot.All in all, I can't believe how good of a purchase this set is! The two speed options (one is on a fixed speed setting, the other one is changeable) make this an appliance that rivals much more expensive ones. It's my favorite kitchen purchase of 2018.This blender is special because it has an ice-crushing blade; other ones in the same class do not crush ice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is all containers (big-opening one for the big blade, tall one for stick blender) are plastic, as are most of the parts. I suppose that saved enough money to pay for the relatively powerful motor. The motor does a WONDERFUL job of turning ice into very finely shaved particles as small as sand. This machine is so great for fruit drinks!!!!!!!! I am very impressed by the ice crushing features. But because the motor is so strong, you have to make sure to hold down the container when the motor is working to keep the container from jumping around. This blender is a great buy for the price.This blender is well made and well designed. It replaced my fifteen-year-old Procter Silex $12 blender. The LiNKChef blender is a pleasure to use. It makes hummus in half the time of my old blender, and also makes great mayonnaise. I am looking forward to using the chopper attachment to mince meat and other items. Like a previous reviewer, I was impressed with the three-year warranty. Another selling point was the blender bade, which is more like the very expensive blenders' blades than most others in the same price range as the LINKChef. Highly recommend.Please note: When I posted this review, it was the third one for this item. The first review was a 5-star one. The second review was for 1 star, because the purchaser did not read the item description and had expected the blender to be cordless--DUH. This seems to be a very well made blender. It is easy to hold and easy to use with the cups provided. You can use it for so many different things with the different attachments. I am very impressed with the 3 year warranty. That is a company that stands behind their product. Easy to clean and then compact enough to store in less space. Hes stopped working after 6 uses. Motor simply stopped working. No way to return or to use warranty. Had promoted the product to her and feel ashamed now. That was my risk but won't even try to use mine. Will return. Very disappointed.Revised - I have been contacted by the seller and offered a refund. The product was sent to a local service shop that was able to repair it so the refund will cover the cost of the repair. So far so good. Very good customer service.I love the blender. I make my protein shake every day and just wash it off. Once a week I use the processor to puree a onion to drain the juice with a cheese cloth to put on my thinning hair. I love that it has 40 speed settings. When I made my dressing for Thanks Giving it chopped the onion and celery as fine as I wanted. I like the taste they give but I hate crunching in to chunks of onion and celery. My mixer I was using has not been used except for mashed potatoes. Do not use this machine on mashed potatoes. I will not try that again. LolThis blender is perfect for small tasks and large. Its very convenient because of its size and power. It states 500 watt motor, but I'm not too sure about that. It is powerful and quiet. All the parts interchange nicely, without any leaks. It's dishwasher safe, but I always rinse off first to make sure nothing is in all the nooks and crannies that the dishwasher may miss. It does have a 3 year warranty which is nice.
