I bought these with a specific quilt pattern in mind, and am glad that I did. The colors are slightly deeper than I usually would buy, but they will work perfectly for my intended use. All of the pieces have slight metallic glints, which, in my opinion is a bonus, to make the overall pattern 'pop'
