Have always wanted one of these types of blenders. Decide to purchase, as the cool weather bringscravings for homemade soup! Arrived fine and the very next day, I made soup! All went well, but though, I am sure it is due to my inexperience, the blender felt awkward in my hand, and heavier than I expected, but it did get the job down. The second time I used, for some reason, it kept coming apart as I used? The hand and wand kept separating as I was blending? But feel it must be operator error, and will try to figure it out. If not able to correct, I will contact company directly to find out why this happening. .
